Today is my birthday and the launch of an online store where you can find my original art for sale. Now you can purchase the inked originals of some of my pieces that I’ve sold colored prints of such as the Nazi Zombie and Oogie Boogie.

That Old Familiar Feeling - Figure Drawing
My brother Joshua Santa-Cruz and I braved a swift squall of snow to make it to the Art Room up in Topsfield for some much needed figure drawing. It had been 3+ years since either of us had done any drawing of this sort so, needless to say, we were excited about the opportunity to draw a live model in a neutral setting within relatively close distance from home.

Wants, Needs, Intentions, and Dreams
This is a piece I created in the fall of 2007 for a Color and Design class. It is made out of clippings from Frank Miller and Geof Darrow’s comic book series Hard Boiled. It was a fun challenge to cut apart printed out versions of the pages and panels and make original compositions out of them. Possession - Self-portrait
This is a brand new self-portrait I made using Manga Studio. It was colored quickly in Photoshop. I really like how Manga’s default inking pen looks so authentic compared to any brushes I ever used in Photoshop. The transition to this program was pretty rough at first, but I have adjusted.
