Possession - Self-portrait
This is a brand new self-portrait I made using Manga Studio. It was colored quickly in Photoshop. I really like how Manga’s default inking pen looks so authentic compared to any brushes I ever used in Photoshop. The transition to this program was pretty rough at first, but I have adjusted. It only took nearly a year of putting off learning it for me to buckle down and get serious about using it for the sweet quality it provides. Also, artists such as Joshua Belanger have inspired me to make the transition. His work is mainly done in Manga and it is extremely impressive how natural the pieces look.
Manga Studio also allows all layers to be transferred into your exported PSD document so even when your file goes into Photoshop for coloring everything is split up in the appropriate layers. Just another perk when using Manga. (WINNING!)

As you can guess, it isn’t true to life. I get so bored with just drawing my face in a normal way, so I like to transform myself and say something else through that transformation. Thanks for checking it out!
